So impressed with Dr. Hur and this practice! He was able to get us a consultation appointment within days of asking. After the consult, he scheduled surgery just days away. Dr. Hur and his staff were incredibly attentive with billing, pre-op, and post-op procedures. They answered all of our questions (and I had a lot!) Dr. Hur called my son later in the day of the procedure, to ask how he was doing/feeling. I would definitely return to Dr. Hur with any other oral surgery needs for my family! 5 stars!

I liked working with this office. The front desk staff and back office is well run (appointments ran on time). The nursing staff is well trained and effective and, along with Dr. Hur, provided great coaching through the whole process across several visits. The office even got me in the same day when I had a minor complication the day before going on vacation. I recommend Dr. Hur and this Naperville office.

I saw Dr. Hur for a lump in the mouth and I thought he was a fine doctor. However, his administrative staff is not very helpful. I had a CT scan in his office but the claim was rejected by my insurance due to lack of preauthorization. The insurance company asked the doctor's office to send a request but they didn't respond. Dr. Hur also ordered an MRI and the imaging center at Edward Hospital FAXed an authorization form to his office but nothing had been done. I called the doctor's office to confirm their FAX number and relayed it to the imaging center which FAXed the form again. Still no response. I called the doctor's office again and this time the lady who answered the phone simply said they don't do preauthorization. I have never had any healthcare provider who refused to help patients obtain preauthorization before this incident. Eventually I got the MRI order and preauthorization from my family doctor. Needless to say I will not return to Dr. Hur's office.

I saw Dr. Hur for a tooth extraction on Aug 30, after I had deeply cracked a tooth and part of it was loose. I can not say enough about how skilled and truly wonderful Dr. Hur is! It took only a couple of injections and the tooth was numb. Within 10 minutes or even less, the tooth was out. He made it seem so easy! There was no pain, no trauma, no swelling during or even after the procedure. Unfortunately I have had several teeth extracted in the past by other oral surgeons, either due to a broken tooth or a failed root canal. This was by far the best, painless, and trauma-free extraction that I have ever had. Last year I had a terrible experience with another oral surgeon in another location and to make a very long story short, it had resulted in a post-surgical infection and months of pain, swelling and other complications. After all of that happened, I decided to research the best qualified and well-skilled oral surgeons anywhere in the area, looking for someone I could trust in the event that I would ever need an oral surgeon again. I feel very blessed that I was able to find Dr. Hur. What an amazing difference from the experience I had had last year with the other surgeon! Aft
